A Different Approach to Healthcare
When Dr. Jessica Kooima founded Radiant Health Natural Medical Clinic (RHNMC) in 2015, her vision was much broader than treating patients. Her belief that a different kind of health care is possible drove her to explore more than just how the care would be delivered. Treating the body, mind, and spirit through an individualized treatment plan was essential, but she believed that delivering that kind of care would be done best in an engaged and thriving community. So, when she was presented with the opportunity to establish her own clinic, she decided to be unconventional. Instead of setting up a business, she took on the additional demands required to establishing a non-profit medical clinic.
The decision and process for becoming a non-profit did not come easy. In addition to all the challenges a doctor faces when they open their own clinic, Dr. Jessica also had to apply for non-profit status, establish a board of directors, fundraise, etc. These were not things she had studied in school or learned in previous jobs. These were different skills and tasks which would require her to stretch, work harder and learn a lot. But, she truly believed it would be worth it because she knew the non-profit model would best equip Radiant Health Natural Medical Center to fulfill its vision.

At Radiant Health, we believe that health and healing are gifts from God, meant for everyone, regardless of their financial situation. Our Charity Care Program reflects our commitment to showing Christ’s love through compassionate service, offering free or reduced-cost naturopathic care to individuals and families facing financial hardships. Guided by the principles of holistic wellness and faith, we strive to make natural, whole-person healthcare accessible to all, ensuring that no one is left behind on their journey to wellness. Because caring for your health is one of the ways we honor Him.
What is Charity Care?
Charity Care allows us to offer free or reduced-cost services to individuals and families who are experiencing financial hardships. This program is rooted in our belief that health is a God-given gift, and we are called to serve and uplift those in need. Through charity care, we provide hope, healing, and holistic support to those who might otherwise go without care, honoring our mission to love and serve our community.

It’s a joyful opportunity to connect with one another, share in a meaningful cause, and raise vital funds to ensure holistic care remains accessible to those who need it most.
